Gary1906
Where are the goals going to come from? Why leave McKay on the bench when he's the only one with a decent goal scoring record? Can't see the sense in that. Surely we can play with two strikers at home?!?!?

Both from deep too. 4-5-1 can be just as attacking as 4-4-2 if the support is there from midfielders. Mckay didn't play on Tuesday and we won. Simplistic I know but making changes to a winning team is mostly unnecessary.
PlayItLivo
Playing against 10 men is a different dynamic than playing against 11. I really hope our manager isn't as basic as to pick todays's team and tactics on how we looked the second half against Wigan.
Stainrod
It's anything gets but defensive if Flynn does like know up though. 4-3-3 when attacking. ?? Edited August 13, 2016 by Stainrod

I really hope our manager isn't as basic as to pick todays's team and tactics on how we looked the second half against Wigan. We looked ok 1st half as well, Klok and Flynn made it a 4-3-3 when we were breaking. No reason not to try it again today. Can always change it if it isn't working. BP1960
The two new signings were sat in the main stand. If anything the squad seems too large now and some need to go.

palmer1
We need a big squad as when the window close we can no longer buy or loan anybody! Not even in an emergency. Sell Brown just because he is :censored: but everybody should stay! Even Winchester, he signed a new contract a month ago so get fit and get interested! We can't risk injuries and hope kids will step up, Mantack showed Tuesday it's a bit early for some and he is the one ahead of the rest it seems! oafc1955
Are we still getting this 'live wire' striker in for Tuesday's Northampton game and has anybody got confirmation of who it actually is?

Yea Chron says unlikely for Northampton...is he really likely to be in contention for his parent club? If so must be half decent...
ghostofcecere
Yea Chron says unlikely for Northampton...is he really likely to be in contention for his parent club? If so must be half decent... Wasn't it said his parent club were trying to bring players in as well? If so, with the new rules about no loan recalls between transfer windows, they're probably waiting until they make their signing before releasing him. I guess they'd look pretty daft if they got an injury and didn't have a fit striker while they have one out on loan elsewhere

Horlicks
I am hearing the target is Sullay Kaikai from Palace, would imagine if it is him the Bolasie sale could be preventing a loan deal until they sign a replacement.

Emailed the club about him after seeing him play against Bromley in pre-season. Different class.

Would be surprised and delighted if we attracted him , was excellent for Shrewsbury last season . Thought it was the lad Lapado who was on their bench against WBA at the weekend due to their lack of strikers .
robboman
Apparently the lad in question was out warming up with the Oldham players at weekend

Got a £50 bet we finish higher. Said if we sign this lad he'll pay up now as should be no lower than championship this season. Said was their standout player and thinks we've no chance. Hope it is him
