L1onheartNew
Don't believe everything Dunn says, there is plenty of ability in that squad. Give Connor Brown a hod full of bricks and he will build a solid defensive wall.
ChaddySmoker
Im with Dunn, only Mike Jones and Liam Kelly are fit to grace this league. Philiskirk on his day too, but the rest are overrated by the majority on here. People like Higdon would do miles better if we had 2 very good wingers, and a poacher up top with him. Unfortunately we have square pegs, and a bunch of soft arses playing and the fact that Mark yeates has been our best player bar Kelly this year says a lot. I mean he was released from a Bradford team that finished middle League 1 last year cos he wasn't wanted or good enough. Get rid of the :censored:ty posers and bring in some people who will get stuck in, and grind out results instead of nearly getting results with fancy stuff. Edit: its not even fancy this season! At first read, I thought that said get rid of the :censored:ty posters. Some good points there youngen
BP1960
I've recommended a young prolific goalscorer to the club, yet to play a first team Premiership game and not been on loan anywhere, but very highly rated. Being watched I believe.

oafcprozac
Shows what a clueless prick he is this squad had us top 5 in January - this won't end well publicly criticising your squad just as you need them to stand up and be counted. I said in September we'd be bottom 4 at Christmas, just how will he get us out of the mess he's partly responsible for? Blame jelly all we want but we were well organised and excellent away under kelly one performance aside at Gillingham and a hit of bluster against ten man Wigan Dunzzzz lot have been pisspoor
singe
The shame is that this weeks enforced rest would have given the squad an opportiunity to regroup and even a few days going away from football completely, and come back refreshed. News like this will only prolong the agony. I would imagine the players he is hoping to attract are all in the Championship. The worry is he has no experience or knowledge of the players and capabilities at League One level except this season (in which he notably struggled somewhat) and this is what you get as standard, the skill being working with it,
Hands on
Bottom rather than bottom four. Coventry, an improving Blackpool away and then Doncaster at home. L L L 19 points! Any good manager should improve the performance of his team. Kelly was sacked, amongst other things, because of poor performance. Dunn despite taking 8 loan players has not improved performance - the team has gone backwards. For some reason the powers that be are content with the current situation and appear to be giving the hapless Dunn more time. Kelly tried to move players on pre season but found out that others will only bid for our best players leaving the worst to see out their contracts. I can see us ending January window worse off rather than better.

NewBlue
Why are people so keen to hark back to a short period of results over a year ago and totally disregard what happened before and after? Bizarre. Because over the course of a 7-month period, we were in the top 6 of the division with same, if not a weaker set of players. Your unwillingness to accept this is equally as bizarre. Your unwillingness to accept this is equally as bizarre. Last season we had an average start, then had a great run from the end of August to end of November, then after the Rochdale game we had 4 wins, 1 draw and 8 defeats. 13 for, 25 against. All under Johnson. So the rot had well and truly set in and this group of players were delivering similar to what they are now long before he left. oafcprozac
It was still good enough for 5th in mid-February. This year the division is even worse....

deyres42
Were good results masking a poor job? By Johnson you mean? No he did a fair job with us, helped by Tommy Wright. But that period of results last season was the exception rather than the norm when you look at the before and after.
yarddog73
By Johnson you mean? No he did a fair job with us, helped by Tommy Wright. But that period of results last season was the exception rather than the norm when you look at the before and after. Is the norm being bottom at Christmas then? Or is Dunns spell as manager an exception from the norm? He took over when we were little worse than mid table but now we sit joint bottom.
