How about a run out in the Checkatrade on Tues I think he’d still make it by about 4 days at the next round, if t’internet is right. Not that there’s ever any reason to question it. Dave_Og
What a top bloke the steward in the red jacket was. Lovely welcome to the ground, pointing out the toilets, food stall etc and applauding the fans. Good stuff fella.

Lee Sinnott
Couple of the Youth coaches have been raving about the young lad for a while now. They reckon he will go right to the top...
Ritchierich
Enjoyed today. Thought we put in a very professional performance and comfortably looked a league above Maidstone I'm a Gardner fan but thought Maouche added something to the midfield, could be a decent player at a higher level once he gets to grips with the pace and physical style There does seem to be a togetherness in the squad and they all put a shift in. The back 4 stood up well to the endless long balls from Maidstone, Clarkey and George as dependable as ever and Rob and Dummy both played really well too. All in all a good day at the office and fingers crossed for a good draw on Monday

Was also wished luck in the next round by another official on the way out.

Well if his advisors (his parents probably) have got anything about them, they’ll tell him to stay where he his for a while and learn his trade and get toughened up playing first team football. Can only hope.

You could say the same about the young lad at Rochdale (Adshead) who made his debut when he was in Year 11 last year. He's still at Rochdale. City and United are more interested in signing kids from abroad. As they become "Home-grown" for European purposes. English lads qualify automatically. Getting him a game will be useful if any bigger club comes calling as it gets us more money. Incidentally he will have had to change separately from the rest of the side due to child-protection issues.
