That reminds me to chase up the council with regards to our fan representation on the SAG committee for BP

How long does seeking outside legal advice take, when other supporters are on their SAG committees?

And to escalate a FOI request to the commissioner too anyone done one of these? That can help?

Thanks

Don’t get too excited - there is plenty of time for plenty of U-Turns

If Boris and his mates said it was Tuesday I’d check the calendar

Agree with the point, but surely they can't go back on this now...

I want there to be an obvious contrast in how many turn up at home as to how many travel away as message to ALMO that we are not fucking happy but then the other side of it is I want us to do well as club this season I think KC is a proven manager at this level who could get a tune out of us.. and obviously not turning up effects his budget.. it's a strange situation to be in isn't it?

The boycotters have got no scope to complain about anything that happens on the field. Let's hope one of the stack of wannabe buyers they insist are out there comes to the party when the shit inevitably hits the fan in the non too distant future...

I would have thought that crowds will be not too dis similar than pre pandemic, the general public will be longing to get there footie fix. It will be a few months before any signs of disenchantment will be noticed. As for me they can fuck right off.

Yeah spot on, and there will be a section of fans who bemoan the squad depth/lack of quality signings. But without home fans- there is no-denying it affects the budget. However they are that divisive, it’s made largely moot because even throwing money at it I don’t think they would be successful.

The football is secondary with how things are, and getting them out is more important in the grand scheme of things.

I know you’re sceptical of new owners, so if/when ALMO leave- I assume you think we’ll just fold?

No, I don't think the ownership issues are insurmountable, it is going to need to be somebody with much deeper pockets than we've seemingly been able to attract to put the club back where the fanbase thinks it should be though.

That was the sort of stance I had under the Corney era towards the end of his tenure but I think its fair to say things are seeming alot worse now ain't they?

Truth be told my lad play on Saturdays now and my priority is to be at his games and I'll get to what games I can here and there but the idea of away game are more appealing having not being able to socialise properly now for over a year now.

I dont think it will be that low. People haven't been to see a live game for 18 months or however long it is. People like me will be desperate to go even if its jus for the first couple just to get the footy fix

Yeah, fair point.

Although I think the novelty will very quickly wear off. A better judgement might be after 5 or 6 home games.

Nearer the day I would be interested to see how many posters on here, who usually go to home games, will elect to be at the first game of the season.

There is a call for fans to not turn up for home games and I respect the right of each to choose whether or not he/she/they support the boycott.

I can imagine however that the size of the away following at Bradford will be larger than it usually is.

I will be there but I completely understand the boycott...

It's a strange one, isn't it? As much as I want to be at games again, I'm so disenchanted with how the club is run, I'm struggling to drum up any enthusiasm.

I certainly won't be doing a nigh on 400 mile round trip to BP but, right this minute, I'm not even sure I can be arsed going to Bristol Rovers on a Tuesday night, even if it is less than half an hour from home.

I've been pissed off several times over the last two or three years, but I've never felt quite this way in all my 70 years of being a Latic; that's what these charlatans have done to the club that I have loved for so long.

I can see every other club in the country seeing improved attendances on the 19/20 average as a post pandemic bump. Let's face it we all want to get out and do stuff. We know it won't happen here but I don't think it will drop off by that much expect a huge range of freebies to be given out so not damage Mr Lemsagams ego.

I really hope they or at least Karl reads this board and sees comments like this from life long fans.

Sadly, even if he does I don’t think he’d care at best

At worse probably prints it out for a good laugh at the next board meeting

If anybody at the club does read these posts, then they need to know that they would get bigger crowds if the fiasco of the Joe Royle stand got sorted out so supporters could take their seats. I am not one for pointing fingers as it gets you nowhere, all they need to do is sit down and talk like grown ups.

I actually stood up for AL at the start of northstandgate. Thinkin theyre arguing over who owns what and who pays for what. Like someone tryin to get landlord to fix the boiler arguing who should pay. But its beyond ridiculous now. It was beyond ridiculous after a week of it bein closed seein as though supposedly it was jus a few locks that needed fitting

I agree it is beyond ridiculous but it doesn't really matter whether it's A.L. or Blitz who's the stumbling block, put the blame game to one side and come to an agreement for the benefit of the club and the fans. They probably won't talk to each other and whoever is the intermediary isn't doing their job but the only way to reach any agreement is to put the dick wagging back in the box and agree via negotiation.

I think it all boils down to who's responsible and when. Blitz won't pay because there's no problem other than on match days. AL won't pay because even though problems only arise when it's his responsibility (on match day), Blitz owns the building and should pay for any changes needed. If the OEC close the bar and AL pays for CCTV on the concourse, the problem could be solved. Both sides are being obstinate and neither cares about the fans who want to sit in the stand.

That rather depends on what the agreement says, commercial lease arrangements not necessarily mirroring domestic ones
