I strongly suggest that posting this video serves no purpose other than to remind us how bad we have been for so long now.

I urge you all not to watch this clip - it’s horrendous 😱

Will the Wigwams play a full-strength team tonight?

Will Mo decide who plays and who doesn't?

Will the Latics be victorious?

[That last one is a trick question]. 😁

It's tomorrow.

Have you mentioned this before. . ?

It doesn't matter how many times Dave says it, there are people that think we can still sign players when we want.

If we are going to get out of the mess we are in (highly unlikely), the 1st thing we need the owner to do is get rid of the embargo.

Indeed it is, otherwise nothing positive can be done by Abdallah to avoid the inevitable.

Failure to act removes any lingering basis for Abdallah to justify his investment or commitment, net book value of a failed club in non league is nowt.

I read an article which implied the EFL were directly involved in player transfers, not merely the administration or checking if players met whatever criteria, the salient point was they had intimate knowledge of all monies involved in the transaction.

The story seemed to suggest the EFL controlled the transaction in some form, hence would be able to call in their loan, with knowledge that a club now had liquid assets previously not recorded in the loan arrangement.

Surely a £250,000 touch from Burnley would trigger the EFL to act?

Quite.

But it’s OWTB rules innit.

Constantly repeat perfectly legitimate facts that only take a passing interest in the club to know about, then completely disregard it with what one wants to happen- rather than the inescapable truth of the matter.

It's why I suggested a pinned summary of actual facts about which there is no speculation. Ground ownership, length of lease, specific responsibilities etc.  Perhaps something the foundation could do next time their website can be updated.

In these days of social media and the rapid almost real time spread of information on Facebook, Twitter etc, why oh why have the Trust paid for a web site which can’t be easily and quickly updated by the user?
