Indeed it is, otherwise nothing positive can be done by Abdallah to avoid the inevitable. Failure to act removes any lingering basis for Abdallah to justify his investment or commitment, net book value of a failed club in non league is nowt. I read an article which implied the EFL were directly involved in player transfers, not merely the administration or checking if players met whatever criteria, the salient point was they had intimate knowledge of all monies involved in the transaction. The story seemed to suggest the EFL controlled the transaction in some form, hence would be able to call in their loan, with knowledge that a club now had liquid assets previously not recorded in the loan arrangement. It's why I suggested a pinned summary of actual facts about which there is no speculation. Ground ownership, length of lease, specific responsibilities etc. Perhaps something the foundation could do next time their website can be updated.
