Paul Simpson did reasonable for himself at the clubs he's managed. But a fair number of people on here seem to be disapproving of Simpson. CBA reading through everything to see why. Doubt Ritchie would be interested. More involved in the media side of the game nowadays and I doubt we'd be the type of club he'd want to come to. Total off-the-wall, far fetched long shot would be Avram Grant....least he might get paid at Latics and I'm sure there are a few massage parlours around the North West that he can "relax" at after a game! I've a family member who's a Tractor Boy and he rated Magilton highly. Does he have any links for round Oldham (I think he may have played for Citeh but I'm not sure)? If he were to come I think Gregan would be an ideal assistant rather than Ritchie as I think you need one leader rather than two. He ticks the so called right boxes can work on a budget,and presumably would not break the bank. As well as having a good season with Morecambe.
