beag_teeets
Typical. I sign up as an owtb member with the excellent name of LJ is smaller than Royle, and he hands in his resignation before I even get to post my first comment. Does anyone know how to change their owtb name....? I'm going to become Scholesy is gingerer than LJ and see if that works. Change it to something like OAFC4EVAKTFOLDHAMTILLIDIE then post to say that you are never going again as the manager left, team played badly, youth team player got subbed.... doctor evil
Are we a bigger club than Burton? Ignoring history. Sad to say it before I don't think the gap is very big anymore. They have a modern ground with good facilities, room for development too. They are appealing to more and more 'modern' fans and families rather than relying on a slow, decreasing core like us.... We do have a remarkably impressive away core of course though. We are a league above them, they have home crowds of around 3000. So i would say yes. IceStationLatic
So in a year's time, we are in the same league and average about the same crowd...

byrnes boots
You lot will probably end up with Dean Holden as your caretaker manager till end of the season that's if Barnsley don't also take him and the rest of the staff from youcheers for that

oafc1955
Bet Dean Holden will be a little miffed after leaving Walsall to come here on a lot less money. There's a fair chance he'll be on his way if a new manager comes in.
Adelatics
I wonder if Tony p has gone into work today thinking "ffs here I go again!" not sure I want dowie, I think he may have been out of the game too long. As for scholes, now is a better time than previously but I'd hope for an experienced assistant.

OnchanJules
LJ openly said last week that he was perfectly happy at Oldham and that the Board didn't want him to leave, so why was he even allowed to speak with Barnsley, that's what I can't understand. We surely can't be that desperate for a bit of compensation, otherwise we'd have cashed in a couple of players in the Jan window. Something doesn't make sense. I know not everyone is bothered but I am really disappointed about this move.

We do have a remarkably impressive away core of course though. Burton had the lowest away support at Exeter this season (63 I believe) for a game where they were 2nd, Carlisle and Hartlepool took more and they're at the bottom! Their ground is tidy but much smaller than BP and their home attendance often drops under 3k. Hasselbaink really seems to know what he's doing with them in the games I've seen of them, but they are a long way off being bigger than us.
