GlossopLatic
Do ya really think we need that many? The draws will keep us ticking along. 5 will do it I would rather get 7 in teams near the bottom suddenly start picking up wins near the end if the season. Let's not rely on 4 others being really :censored:. 5 home games in march all of them winnable will be decisive.

Stevie_J
Darren Kelly and David Dunn combined = 3 wins in 24 games; John Sheridan = 3 wins in 7. The value of a manager.

And how utterly useless the other 2 jokers were, they must be the worst managers in our history certainly in my 26 years of watching us Especially Dunn's comments about Mourinho and Ferguson not being able to get these players playing
NewBlue
We draw so many we may be fine to win fewer than the rest of the strugglers.

But anyway, Sheridan has been a breath of fresh air, taking away the pressure on everyone straight away as he wouldn't be sacked even if we went down. The football has been positive and he's 4/4 in terms of quality of signings. 4 players that have massively improved the first team. Optimism and positivity is back and it's possible to see a bit of a bright future for the first time since Johnson left.

nzlatic
Pretty sure he did.He actually said that they couldn't stop people making terrible individual errors. The MEN did a nice sensationalist headline implying that he said they wouldn't make a difference to the team.

singe
Pretty sure he did.You cant prepare a team to keep making individual errors. Sir Alex Ferguson couldnt do that, and you could get Jose Mourinho in here and he wouldnt be able to sort that out, thats a fact, he said. So he didn't. But he was very naive to get embroiled in the analogy, which would inevitably be twisted and he'd been on the defensive.

A football manager shouldn't have to think about how a journo will misreport his words to generate click bait headlines. Although that's probably why you get such bland interviews these days. His openness was something I liked about Dunn. Sheridan has a similar way about him too. Prefer that to meaningless cliches.
