Strange, seems like he’s happy in the conference Far be it from me to defend him (him & his dad have gone about it all wrong) but, how often do we moan that players are happy to sit on the bench and pick up a wage? Wellens has stated that we're paying part of his wages with Tranmere picking up the rest so he's not getting paid any more (although he might be getting the Tranmere bit in full & on time ), he's clearly happy to be starting and enjoying his football after a bad time here. Sporting Intelligence estimate that many players pay doubles with win bonuses etc, though clearly ours wouldn't for many of those years!
