When Byrne wasn't firing, or once he was substituted, we've largely been fucked. Plan A was a damn good plan for a while but it was the only plan. That's the hope! Agree it would be mad if not, but there is a small possibility that the squad be trimmed to the thinnest possible prior to the takeover, but that doesn't quite happen in time for tomorrow and we could put a team out albeit less competitive than late. And it was only a few players different than the team and squad v Oxford. The point I suppose I am making is that we might have taken a very big cutback in the squad, but that it is only par with what we would have had had AL not been in the frame, so basically we've only kamikaze trimmed right back for just 3 games ie Shrews, Charlton and Rotherham. Not saying it is right, but as we had such a big squad, its not like we were the other season with 4 players left or whatever it was. Sorry if it doesn't make sense. OR Has Wellens gone for Balderick levels of cunning not said anything and we see Bryan Byrne aswell as the others on the team sheet tomorrow at 2pm OR Have we Latics'd the fuck out of this week and we are left with more players unregistered in the stands tomorrow than on the pitch.
