We were second best all over the park in the first half and if it wasn’t for the heroics of Clarke and Iversen, the game would have been over by HT. Second half we came out and had a go at them. I’ve not seen a replay of the penalty so don’t know whether it hit a hand or not. What I will ask is how can a lino give that from where he is and why did both officials give a corner before Doncaster players started protesting? It’s no coincidence that this is the same referee as at Rochdale last year in my opinion. In terms of performances, Clarke was superb and my mom. Iversen matched everything thrown at him. Lang was our biggest threat followed by Nepo (what is he doing at left back?). Thought Hamer did ok too. Edmundson’s distribution was shocking and must surely improve if he’s to move up the leagues. Sylla and Branger both poor for the most part. Considering the lack of quality in our squad, we battled well.
