It's far from all rainbows and sunshine, but blimey it's the most entertaining it's been for a good while...

Turn a few of those home games into wins and be stronger in midfield and defence we'd be promotion contenders.

One more thing before I log off for the family Zoom quiz

What's utterly bizarre about this season is that we seem to be able to do the most difficult thing in football which is to go away from home to the teams at the top of the division and win and win well. Yet the stuff we can't do winning at home against dross, and all the off the pitch shit seems relatively easy in comparison to fix.....

Fantastic win, and not unexpected. Home form needs addressing in the second half of the season.

If one stat sums us up this season, it's that we're top of the away form table, despite having conceded the joint most goals away from home!

Keep up the entertainment lads!

For years and years you just knew it was game over when we conceded.

Not with this team. We’re always in the game, and it’s so refreshing.

I don’t even bother now when we go behind in first half. Know we have enough to score 2 or 3 a game quite easy.

Great entertainment on here during lockdown. Shambolic in defence, hopeless in midfield and miss-kicks in front of goal. Only 1 team has scored more goals than us and only 5 teams have won more games than us. And somehow during the pandemic and zero attendances, wages and HMRC, seemingly, continue to be paid.
Covid isolation is effecting our logic.

Perhaps the owner has a few quid?🤷‍♂️

If Corney was still the owner we’d be in admin now. No question.

I do think any owner, not just ours, that keeps any club solvent through all of this deserves huge praise.

Sorry if that offends some here.

Aye.

No bad press. No late wages. (In a time of crisis) Entertaining football.

Looks like we may be slowly slowly turning a corner.

Pathetic that second goal, 3 defenders and none of them could be arsed to stand anywhere near the lone striker, if my pub team let in a goal like that we would be seriously bollocked by our team mates and our keeper

How can these clowns be professional footballers? Pidge is enthusiastic but can't organise, Clarke is going to be a good player but needs someone decent alongside him and as for Borthwick-Jackson?! He only seems to be half arsed about everything he does, his only attribute as a defender is that he isn't Tom Hamer

And as for midfield.... Yes, we should get one

Such a shame that when we finally have a really decent strike force we've ended up with no defense and a bang average manager

mmm, my half time post now looks a little embarrassing! Had just heard what was happening for Christmas down here so I am pleading not guilty on the grounds of temporary insanity

unless it’s just that HMRC have a back log?

joke - I don’t like the leadership but they seem to have done ok thus far this season in terms of minimal shit storms - dog gate aside

and we are playing ok - raise a glass to Al and Mo (Barry can still get fucked)

FSA still class us as a club in crisis, with other clubs now I hasten to say in a current covid world.

However, they also say that it seems we are paying the bills and wages (touch wood).

Yep, that’s where I am. You don’t have to like them to acknowledge some improvements.

So, maybe it is a case of better the devil you know.,,,hmmm

ALL clubs are in crisis.  With respect, what the hell do the FSA know of our owners personal finances? I’d hazard a guess at zero.

Perhaps the key for us fans is not to be too negative when we are struggling in games and enjoy the good things more.

To answer the first question just read the early posts in this thread.

See the second post for a sound suggestion 😀

Is it just me but are the signings that are clearly linked to MO, e.g. Bahamboula better this year.

Maybe, just maybe they have figured out where he/they were going wrong.

The team spirit seems good too, I don't think it's as cliquey as it was in recent years, and our many away wins will very likely help.

Something has definitely changed for the better on recruitment.

As for the squad, the cliques that were VERY obvious (perhaps even encouraged) under Shez and Wellens seem to have gone.
