I feckin hate him and the rest of the amigos charlatans

Correct. Everything about OAFC is either directly or indirectly controlled or indebted to Blitz.

Everything.

No offence, but I stopped reading after this line.

When has he tried, exactly?

His only plan was to try and push his clients through the club to make a profit for himself and his agency.  Now that ingenious idea has failed, he's just letting the club rot. The rumour was that we we're knackered under Corney.  AL has made no attempt to maintain the little remaining that was good about the club under Corney - he's destroyed it further.  If the club was knackered under Corney, imagine what state it is in now.  AL is not some victim of a scam who's been done by his own sweet naivety - he's responsible for the club's current plight, regardless of what Blitz has done.

Exactly he knew what he was getting himself in for.

I'm not exsonerating Blitz from it he's played his part in the longterm but it's become a rather convenient excuse since the Lemsagams plan has failed.

A plan which by the way if he had discovered some rough diamonds then would have quite probably worked.  But instead of hiring a proper recruitment specialist who could have found some players who could have made an impact on the field, who he and we could have profited from he hired his brother.

I know people who blame Keith Curle can also see the problem with the Lemsagams, but its a fallacy to think that this weeks actions will alter the trajectory of where the club is going.

I'm going to predict that Salim will get a few positive results in the next few weeks those that wanted Curle sacked will turn round and say "AHA you see Keith Curle was a bum things are getting better". Those results will then tail off, those fans that wanted Curle gone, who wanted Kewell gone, that wanted Maarmria gone, will then want Salim or the new guy gone. We will still be in a relegation scrap at the end of this season one that unless the restrictions are lifted in January and we make additions we quite probably won't win.

I find it amazing that people focus so much on who the manager is. Totally irrelevant. Couldn’t care less whether it’s Curle or Pep. No manager is to blame. Curle included.

The focus has to be off the pitch

Yes no manager is to blame for the current condition of the club, but a manager must get the team to play at its best, I feel Curle was unwilling to change things that many of us could see a mile off.

If you work on the production line of a factory that is owned and managed by a complete dickhead.

You even wonder how the hell this clown ever made enough money to buy the factory in the first place.

All the time whilst pondering this, your work has been substandard, in fact, downright shoddy compared to everyone else in the company to the point where your manager fires you.

You trudge off down to the boozer and promptly tell everyone you have been unfairly dismissed because the owner of the company is a tool

My question is, does everyone in the pub tell you what a good lad you are and after buying your drinks have a whip round for you, or do they just think you must have been shit at your job?

AL is simply out if his depth and is genuinely clueless.

Blitz knows exactly what he is doing. He’s allowing the club to decay and die, physically and spiritually. It will continue to do so whilst he owns the assets.

For me, one is far far worse than the other. I am genuinely puzzled why all of the ire from the various bodies, including the vociferous fans, completely ignores Blitz.

Puzzled ? Your second sentence explains why surely ?

So we get a better manager in and play a bit better and manage to create a bit of space between us and the bottom. So what?

But this is the thing every other manager under the Lemsagams has failed so its not like everyoneelse is doing a good job and he's the weakest link. Every competent member of staff on and off the pitch has walked away in the last 4 years so that's not a very good anology.

how so?

Because as you say, Blitz knows exactly what he's doing, he's clever and sneaky. Keeps quiet and in the background mainly.

Tries to keep "on side" with supporters now and then.

Would he get his money back building houses on BP ? I wouldn't have thought so but I could be wrong.

He might try to be quiet and sneaky, but we all know… so that doesn’t explain why he doesn’t get grief and implicated on a regular basis. He gets pretty much a free ride.

What do you propose?

From the fans? The same chants that AL gets.

From the ‘groups’? No idea, but at least the same as AL. Some clarity and explanation. Explanation of his intentions and the rationale for the price he’s demanding (countered by an independent valuation). Constant and ongoing ‘demands’ that he makes the areas in and around the stadium safe, accessible and presentable. The council should be involved in that too. He needs to feel some grief and pain. Right now he’s just waiting for it all to die.

Agree with Kow - he’s been pretty much sucked off on both podcasts he’s appeared on - he needs holding to book

But on that basis, it made absolutely no sense for Blitz to bail out Corney when he was building the north stand. The £3m or so he put it would be a complete waste. What's your explanation of why he would do it?

First OASF have re-applied to renew the ACV currently covering the footprint of BP, little wembley and car parks (thanks to our volunteer who did all the paper-work). It is way overdue a decision from OMBC (chased 3 times and now escalate to the local MP's and relevant councillors as of this week). renewal date is March 2022. Note we believe the landlord will ask us to remove Little wembely - that is another hurdle OASF will have to look into

Second, there is a pre-ACV checklist that includes being ready. It includes

  • Getting an independant valuation of BP, think RICS and costing. I believe a RICS could cost £800.00 per hour? but Its alright saying BP is worth X but is it?
  • SAG - getting our hands on SAG meeting notes (declined by OMBC, won on appeal/internal review but still declined info) now with FOI commissioner. We hope this will tell us a shelf life on 2 stands and if we have to budget for them. Other councils publish SAG reports. We requested this 12 months ago.
  • SAG representation - It is 12 month since we requested Fan representation on SAG. Fans should have a say on their match day safety. OMBC are still to re-constitutionalise themselves to have fans on board (yet they are on other councils SAG teams)
  • Pre-business plan - how are we to run BP as a business for at least 3 years - and factor in possible 2 new stand builds too. Think Hearts did a stand for 3mill?
  • Grant applications -

and other stuff too but I am typing this from memory. It really needs a project team but again OASF are few in numbers.

cheers

The ACV is all well and good and should be pursued, however, it's fairly irrelevant right now because if it was triggered we have about 10k to make a bid.

Keep little Wembley in! Make it difficult for him, if we ever get a buyer…let’s hope they want to keep it ! Blitz has sold enough on !
