The ACV is all well and good and should be pursued, however, it's fairly irrelevant right now because if it was triggered we have about 10k to make a bid.

Depends on a number of factors

1) What will the landlord accept?

2) Depending on who triggers it, OASF can delay any potential sale by 6 months. This allows us to raise awareness and advise that we wish to place a non-obligatory bid and what amount we bid. This also allows other bidders and landlord determines the nature of the bidding, auction, close bids etc

3) OASF can trigger the ACV and for the first 6 weeks, the landlord can only sell to an non-profit organisation. ie OASF so if keen for an early sale who knows

Cheers

Keep little Wembley in! Make it difficult for him, if we ever get a buyer…let’s hope they want to keep it ! Blitz has sold enough on !

Lapsed housing permission in 2009, put a value on its loss and clayton arms sports centre by Sport England.  Loss of the sports centre got the replacement changing rooms on clayton, loss of little wembley was at the time, some cash and Replacement 3g pitch with flood lighting at Cathedral road ( not CHapel).

We have Sport England on standby as well as the FSA as we want to ensure we have exhausted all options if we "give it up"

Bearing in mind last week OMBC got a lottery grant for promoting football in the community, Specifically Oldham West (I think BP is in Coldhurst), however, OACT is part of the plans to deliver so who knows

Also the Fan Led Review included Clubs seperated from assets

There is lots of work to do and not many of us to do it. @Dave_Og mentioned it on another thread that we are short-staffed

If you can support us by:

But on that basis, it made absolutely no sense for Blitz to bail out Corney when he was building the north stand. The £3m or so he put it would be a complete waste. What's your explanation of why he would do it?

He’s not as bright as he thinks he is? Dunno? Certainly a big gamble/mistake.

What's all this about?

I wonder if Brassbank will now take the club to court re unpaid rent?

Can't imagine we're up to date the way things are being run.

Either way let's hope this brings everything to a head and somehow we can move forwards.

Might be settled out of court as many are?

The previous lease was 2014 and peppercorn rent

The  current lease is 2016 lease and came into being about the time the North stand change of ownership happened

I am no expert but maybe the lease is up for scrutiny too and possibly the payments?

Someone mentioned on here that the rent was due to be increased to £250k from £100k having previously been reduced as part of the JR Stand financing arrangement.

Wasn't the cheaper rent there for as long as Corney owned the club?

Yes think he got it at "mate's rates" but when Blitz spoke at the OEC fans q&a he said the rent had been reduced for x years as part of the deal to finance the build.

yes that is true. From memory

November 2016 the stadium lease was varied with Oldham Athletic surrendering their interest in the part of the stadium comprising the North Stand and the car park licence. The surrender was made subject to (1) a debt to Brassbank being written off and (2) the rent in relation to the retained stadium being reduced from £150k to £100k for the period up until 1 July 2021 and from £250k to £200k from 1 July 2021 onwards.

If its not him it's a bloody good lookalike absolute hanger on.

I thought it looked like him but then dismissed it.

If it was him then perhaps he was enquiring as to CR7s availability in January if he wont fit into Ralfs high presding game he's about to initiate at Utd
