I totally get furore about player wages, although they are what they are, but transfer fees are only paid to other football clubs - typically smaller ones

How much of transfer fees do agents swallow up? I'd also like to see the typical average transfer fees paid by PL and Championship clubs to L1/L2/NL clubs - when they are not poaching the latter's youth players, that is.

Hope so. Wouldn’t be surprised if MM hasn’t allowed whoever was picked to go.

Doubt he would have a choice tbh with you.

Southend defender Gus Scott-Morris got called up.

If anyone remembers from last Saturdays game - first half, he was the one who shot from outside the box forcing a bloody good save from your keeper Hudson.

I liked him. Thought he had a good game and pushed Kitching hard.

I remember. You’ve got a pair of stellar wing backs it must be said

I don’t see why not, there’s no obligation from the club to send someone I wouldn’t have thought and with us getting into the tail end with something to play for, why risk an injury?

that being said, I have seen that Conlon is on the contingency list

Emphasising the strange ambiguity of this league, Wealdstone, one place above the relegation zone and having four games in hand on Southend, would be in tenth and above Southend had they played and won them all.
