Let him crack on then and see how that one pans out, if he said that to me directly I wouldn't fucking go again, it shows a distinct lack of respect for his paying customers and his time is probably better spent sorting the shitshow out that Royle and Unsworth have created rather than berating fans who part with their hard earned to watch the tripe they are putting out.

Interesting that the owner sticking up for his staff is your threshold for boycotting after the Lemsegams/BO era.

He doesn't like fans shouting negatively. Is that a bit naive? Maybe. But his loyalty to his staff has probably stood him in very good stead over the years. He probably thought the fans would be able to take it if they were willing to give it.

Football isn’t like ANY other business. False equivalence.  Even if it was… shouting at your customers to allow the failing employees to get better isn’t what any business owner would do is it!

If you are defending that behaviour then I give up.

Frank is guilty here of passionately sticking up for his employees in the face of people who are screaming how shit they are directly at them. Having worked for several people who treat their employees like dog shit over the years I really don't have a problem with that. I admire his principles. Even if it leaves a few fans clutching their pearls.
