Usually teams who are this poor in open play are good in both boxes, we seem to offer no threat. I know Green's flaws, but how have we not played him in a similar way to how we played at Maidenhead? Sadly we’ve fallen for it hook, line and sinker. The team didn’t seem to be set up in any way to absorb that way of playing despite it being an obvious tactic. I don’t understand Lundstram instead of Green. Conlon not on the ball in any meaningful way - he’s headed it more than he’s passed it. Massive gaps between midfield and the strikers. So easy for the opposition, stick a man on conlon and press the cb's, we panic and end up hoofing it. They've barely had to get out of 2nd gear.... We have 3 midfielders but when the cbs have it none of them come looking for the ball. But then when it goes direct to the strikers the midfielders are nowhere to be seen.
