Total over the top pissboil on here and X .  What do we have 19 contracted players  atm  not a big enough squad for a full season I think we can all agree on that. So we need another 5 or 6 players for a 25/26 man squad maybe these 5 or 6 players are the specialist player Mellon  mentions us  needing. He has probably already identified them and may be in negotiations .  I can see Nuttall Reid Willoughby and Shelton definitely moving on   That would give him the  room and funds to add the likes of green fondop Gardner and mcgahey  as squad players . Chill out folkes and enjoy the  summer. Plenty of time to moan and rant about Latics next august

AFC Fylde have apparently increased the interest in Reid.

Conlon is going to take over the captaincy.

We are looking at the Fleetwood winger who was on loan at Rochdale.

Cian Hayes. Played very well in the Spotland game.

You'd think the same conversation will be had with Nuttall and Willoughby on their return from loan. That could be 7 of the retained 19 on their way and opening up the possibility of  decent recruitment- even if one or two of the out of contract lot are invited back as squad fillers

I’m pretty sure those conversations have already taken place!

Yep, that’s him, had a great season but I’m told a couple of league two clubs are looking at him.

Not sure if if it’s been mentioned but Hogan is going to be a squad player at best and the preferred back two are Raglan and Hobson.

Norwood has been apparently been told to actively find another club due a development.

We’ve approached Wigan to sign Stones permanently or a season long loan.

I’m hearing big Mike has been offered a one year deal.

Even if you've made this up, it reads like poetry....

I’ve not, most of my posts are usually there or there abouts.

I know.  Poor attempt at humour on my part.

Got renewed faith in Mellon if all those things come to fruition..

Really chuffed for Mikey if this is true.

10 Goals.

Best MPG of anyone at the club.

Brilliant off the bench.

The only one I would’ve kept who is OOC.

I thought Reid had the best MPG?

Also on Mikey-

He has a relationship with the fans, he seems a great bloke and good character. That’s important at anytime, but especially when you’re trying to rebuild.

I want a lot more with his non playing characteristics in the squad.

Actually it’s stones. 😂

Then Reid.

Then Mikey.

Still. I’m pleased for him.

Don’t be surprised if there is a change to Mickey’s coaching staff too.
