al_bro
We may not have to wait long. Moisley said that Lemsagan's accountants had been looking at the books for the past two weeks, and that Lemsagan was flying into the country today to attend tonight's game. Moisley then said that things should progress quickly this week (meaning the takeover). If it goes through in the next couple of weeks hen he will be free to bring in whoever he wants as manager. piglinbland
http://www.estrepublicain.fr/sport-lorrain/2017/09/26/passage-a-la-caisse-a-l-asnl Nancy have until the 8th of October to conclude severance with Pablo Correa, after which time they will be liable to a 15,000€ fine per match (Vincent Hognon, who has all his coaching diplomas, will officially become manager 1 month to the day after Correa's suspension. To have 2 managers on the books is a breach of law). Compensation will be huge - Correa's salary wasn't indexed to relegation so he stayed on 40,000€ per week and his contract runs until the end of the 2018-19 season... Dowie looking longer than just this season though but that can't be guaranteed by Corney, which suggests new regime in soon and making decisions. Depends how quickly this investment takes to be rubber-stamped I guess but appears to be a divide in whether we remain with a manager who knows the league or one from overseas known to Lemsagam. I'd take the flower pot men in joint charge for eternity to avoid ever having to read "Dowie interested" in the same sentence as Oldham Athletic ever again... And that's before looking at the fact he's been a complete failure every where apart from a 6th place finish when we the equivalent of Chelsea in division 2 and one good season at Palace. Oh and he hasn't managed for 7 years... F**k off with Dowie! Edited September 26, 2017 by Buckshawlatic

tGWB
This is not a time for sentiment and certainly not about considering appointing ex players with no/little management experience at all If we don't get this next Manager appointment right we seriously risk the drop into League 2 which holds the 'trapdoor to oblivion' Chesterfield and Port Vale are currently in the bottom 3 of League 2, very similar Clubs to ourselves A Manager of experience is critical now

BAME is Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Groups. Correa is Hispanic, I'd class that as a minority ethnic group. If we are copying the Rooney rule from the US he'd count, where they have a far greater Hispanic population than we do. Zenga might be able to count on similar ethnic grounds.
