Lags
Against Oxford City for home fans. Why?

Sloshed Joe
Maybe the players have commented on how flat it feels having a completely empty stand behind one of the goals. A few hundred people cheering us on that end could make a small difference.
yarddog73
Stupid diluting the home fans further, cost involved as well, all the little nob ends will start congregating over in that corner by the away fans paddock. Makes no sense when the ground is half empty. Might ease the queues at the kiosk in the RRE would be the only reason I could give for it.

oafc1955
I’m pretty sure York will bring a few hundred following a good result with a new manger. Will there be enough room in the MS paddock tomorrow night?

Could be testing the water, for me I am happy in the RRE, plus the RRE has far better viewing facility for the disabled which one of our party uses. LaticsEddie
Good idea. Only negative is the costs involved. Had a real issue with balls being lost in there and so could help to rectify that, will help to bring the queues down in other stands. 9 minutes ago, Sloshed Joe said: Maybe the players have commented on how flat it feels having a completely empty stand behind one of the goals. Lags
Maybe the main stand is going to be condemned finally?. Who knows what the intention behind this is. Just seems an expense given we don't fill 3 stand. Nowhere near.

Flemboy
Don't see the need unless our support increases a lot in the next few weeks.Thought the whole idea was to save staffing costs.

I can't imagine them allowing them to sit near away fans with them knowing the kind of tossers that would just try and cause trouble. Maybe have them top tier 1 minute ago, Flemboy said: Don't see the need unless our support increases a lot in the next few weeks.Thought the whole idea was to save staffing costs. The idea of this is obviously going after bettering the atmosphere
oafcmetty
Somebody probably suggested it to Frank on Saturday after telling him to sack DU
GlossopLatic
It's a suck It and see. Lets see if it enhances the atmosphere or not we can always go back to having us all in the other 3 stands.
Summerdeep
Not a bad idea. Also, remove all the seats (this is football, not the opera) and charge £5 admission at the turnstile.
LightDN123
Swear I seen have recent research which suggests that teams perform better when home fans are behind both ends. Probably the thinking behind it.
nzlatic
Might lead to good atmosphere behind both goals. Might dilute the RRE. Seems a good idea to give it a little trial though.

Probably the thinking behind it. I’m sure I’ve heard Frank reference this recently. Well, they pretty much say as much in the article: ”We want to make the most of home advantage by giving the players the benefit of a backing from behind both goals, so we will be allowing supporters to return by initially opening the middle section of the stand.”
LaticsPete
Not a good idea. Will be less support and noise from RRE which has got very successful recently
oafc1955
Lot of people apparently saying that they want the Chaddy to be the home end again….this should be a good pointer!

I'd take any small edge we could get
