josh_latics
Haven't seen any pre-season, but think Taylor is a good signing. Steady, offers balance and *think* he's quite handy at set pieces too.

Hands on
2 goalkeepers 1 place. 10 defenders 4 places. 9 (+ Baxter = 10) midfield 4 places. 2 strikers (- Baxter - Duffus) 1 (or 2) places. Tick tock!

latics22
Surely the fact that most of the other trialists played one game then got signed, must mean O’Grady and benteke are on thier way ?

the_mighty_bosh
Looking at that squad I'd say that we are sorted for defenders and central midfielders. Add a right midfielder, minimum of two strikers (ideally three) and possibly a keeper and winger (who can play either side) and I think we'll be set. A decent striker for our level is a must have, anything more and happy days.
steveecky
We may already have a good striker on the books, but he’s loaned out. Can’t see why new manager wouldn’t want him to be integrated with his parent club teammates. Instead we are looking at strikers with woeful scoring records who are unlikely to improve. I would suggest thats too big a squad for us to be carrying so some more need to leave.
