Smash and grab job. We were awful.

Dearnley improved things when he came on, and it was a great finish from Rowe. Mills and Wheater had to deal with a lot and managed pretty well, and De La Paz didn't put a foot wrong.

As for the rest...

Iacovitti and Hamer simply can't pass. It was like Salford had two extra up front. Hamer can at least take a throw in, unlike Iacovitti, but it's not much consolation.

Sylla had probably his worst match for us. Maouche and Smith tried but were well marked out of the match. Azankpo made one good covering tackle for Iacovitti (of course), but did nothing else. I'm not sure N'Guessan even knows which way he's facing most of the time.

Most depressing thing is that a "successful saved point" means we'll get another few weeks of this.

Penalty incident

How the ref gives a penalty for that is very questionable.

Penalty itself

Clear push on the Keeper and strong suspicions of handball.

Incidentally the ref is in his first season in the league and reffed us against Colchester (h) and Gateshead (a).

My 1st game since Bradford and that 1st half was as bad as anything that day. The only players to come out of today with any credit were Rowe, Missilou, Dearnley and Wheater who held it together quite well at the back. Great finish from Rowe and a better manager would have this team further up the table. It's not difficult to keep the ball on the deck and pass it around, using this tactic would see us progress, at the moment it's fuckin awful, having said that I do fancy a day on the piss in Crewe.

Might not a pen but no way that is a foul on the keeper.

We could have jumped about 4 places if we had won today. 1st 11 selection today was confusing. Don’t like baying for blood but draw or lose on tues and Dino surely has to go. The amount of point dropped in the last 6 or 7 games is ridiculous.

Pretty much how I see things.

Lacovitti is utterly useless and nowhere near league 2 standard. N’Guessan might as well be called “I’m guessing” ...a nickname Dino could also use!

Was in the Salford end and hope the Oldham fan who got knocked out is okay. Salford lad smacked him as he was getting escorted out and he had a right black eye and was knocked out for a few mins.

A Coward spending Saturday night in a cell and in court next week
