so would that fit with the emphasis on the Academy that we have/had?

What emphasis?

The one where they get sold before being given a proper chance?

or

The one where they’re played out of potion?

When was the last time we had a player come through the ranks, play his position - and get sold for more money due to first team appearances?

Edmundson?

Before that?

We hardly ever see the academy bear fruit in the way it should,  and when we do they’re not trusted/play out of position,  or go before we can really bring them

Wrong about Wellens, but right about the other two.

Darren Moore would be really good.

You don't really have to try that hard to see there's some decent options out there.  We can turn this around.

Darren Moore favourite for the Huddersfield job.  Which does free up Colin...

Wasn't it one of the objectives when the new owners came in, make better use of it, self sustaining etc?

Apologies if I've got that wrong.

You haven’t got it wrong sir but they’ve only had the keys to the club for 12 months.

Take comfort that they’ve brought in Muzza and Chuck to oversea the academy.

Have patience and stop apologising, you are hardly ever wrong.👍

Its really simple this

We must recruit someone who has done something our club has not done for over 30 years

A Manager that has actually won something, preferably a promotion

Nothing else will be good enough

Getting drawn into the nostalgia of previous players managing or giving someone their first chance in management is one of the reasons why we continue to fail
