Nothing to do with safety or bomb threats. If this was genuine he could surely put it to bed very simply by publishing the relevant documents from which H&S body covers it saying the reasons why the stand doesn't comply. Pidge Posted June 10, 2022 Share Posted June 10, 2022 Interesting that Barry Owen (and it is obvious from the wording used in the statement this it is him) now finally admits that the real reason the North Stand is not being used, is not a blocked fire escape or a CCTV link to the control room. Far from it! The real reason is the management of the OEC do not accept that the owner of the club has complete control of the whole of the North Stand during matches.
