Not surprising.  Plus those playing may have half an eye on the play offs, and not be 100% committed for fear of injury or suspension.  Rochdale to win at about evens looks reasonable.

They can't rest too many....

The new regulations, which are in effect from this season onwards, state: "For any league match played on or after the fourth Thursday in March any team sheet for a league game should include at least 10 outfield players who featured on the team sheet for the league match before."

So they can start the 6 outfield substitutes and the reserve keeper if they wish?

They can.

Thinking about it - they can leave them all on the bench, play 4 from the starting lineup last week and 6 youth team players. A bit of an ineffective rule then.

Those of us who suggested they won’t go full-strength after Tuesday’s results got called crazy...

And those who thought the Plymouth game on Tuesday wasn't important could be wrong now Charlton may not play full strength team

I think people were saying the Walsall and AFC results weren’t important. They weren’t. Changed nothing.

It is crazy. They’re not assured of their place. It wouldn’t even take a miracle for them to miss out, especially if they play a second string team against a team scrapping for their lives. Plymouth will be going all out too. A 6 goal swing isn’t a impossible to turn around if the right set of circumstances are present on Saturday. Charlton not fielding their best team is one of the big factors in creating those circumstances.

Its unlikely they will rest their entire squad it could be just be a case they bench a couple of them in preperation for the play offs.

Besides it shouldnt matter if we go down we only have ourselves to blame.

Charlton can't afford to be lax because they could easily lose 2 or 3 nil if they do.

Wouldn't take much for Plymouth to turn that around then I wouldn't like to be in Bowyers shoes if that happened.

This has all the makings of a draw!!!

The more I think about this the more my mind gets tangled. Charlton have a decent record v Dale and wint really want to massively change things as really they still need at least a draw to make sure.

The more pessimistic part of me says that they will make changes and will be unsettled.

We really must win our game to put all the what if and what not to bed.

For our boys it will be almost better than a home game with the noise from our lot. Jeez I hope we don't cock this up. I'm already feeling nervous and it's only Thursday!

It’s the last 20 mins that might be crucial. Word gets through that Plymouth are losing so Bowyer brings a couple of main players off and Rochdale get a winner.

Or word gets through in the last 20 minutes Plymouth are winning 4-0 and Charlton are losing 3-0.

Charlton bring on their supersubs and win 4-3.

Or word comes through that Dale are winning, so Wellens takes off Byrne
