You know I would bloody love him to score, he's like a rabbit in the headlines when he gets anywhere near the opps penalty box, ususally because he's ran past our forward line and he's realised he's on his own..heheh

He's been one of a few that's had a decent season. My player of the season

Fane always gets booked...every time i wonder if he'll ever score i know it will come with a 2nd yellow for over celebration

Well. Nepo in, but nobody to hold the ball up and play others in... again!

No no idea who is doing the tackling either.

Weak as piss that midfield.

Lets hope donny are on their hols and it works.

Cant help but feel we are going to get a hammering with this line up.  Much like Tues, we will be carrying Byrne while defending and who knows what Benyu will bring.  Think Donny if they want to will stroll through our midfield.  Gardner will be doing some running today.  Playing 3 at the back scares the life out me.

Wellens had to try something, hope it works and Donny don't turn up. Fingers crossed.

Back 4 with nepo at left back, Hunt right back?

Thats how we are warming up so yes.

Think it will be pringle and gardner in the centre it would have been mad to change the formation at this stage of the season.

I see it as 4-4-2.

Placide

Hunt

Hamer

Edmundson

Nepomuceno

Benyu

Byrne

Gardner

Pringle

Nazon

Doyle

Best of luck to Wellens and you can't say he hasn't been brave, but what stands out to me is that there's:

No significant experience at the back.

No strength and ball winner in midfield.

No target man up front.

In an ideal world we'd have a better quality of player than Wilson, Fane and Davies, but they are key structural points of the team and can often be missed when they aren't there.

I hope to God that I'm wrong and this works.
