Just watched Peter Clarke for Fleetwood vs Burnley, kept Jay Rodriguez quiet in the first half and was organising everybody around him, would definitely still do a job for us..played 70 mins..

Be signing for Fleerwood Town, Steve Eyre is a huge fan of his, weird how he's deemed surplus for us but is turning out for an established League 1 team, nonsensical on every level given what we are lacking.

It just proves once again that our madcap leader hasn't got a clue. Disgraceful treatment of one of the game's honest and true professionals. Hang your heads in shame, Lemsagam and co., but you won't because you're too sodding arrogant.

Or not. It's a travesty that a player with his ability has to tout himself around fourth tier clubs but that's where it's at.

Agreed. Remember the buzz that went around the ground when it was announced baxter had signed a 2 1/2 year contract at the club. First time around it was a pleasure to watch him play. He should have been nowhere near latics at the time. What a waste of talent.

I thought Corney always accepted the first bid we got offered for any player? Sure that's what people were saying during the GE transfer saga.

On Taylor, he's been told by Bowyer that they need to get rid of players before they can make him an offer. Bury are interested. He would be open to coming here, but his preference would be to work with Bowyer again...

Trialling for Bury tonight...

He'd been through the mill by the time he returned and maybe the expectation was too bigger weight to carry on those talented shoulders, no matter what the future holds, he's still a down to earth guy who had plenty of time for the fans.
