No -that tweet Diego quotes is from last night. The club have now said it's pay on the day now in the opposite side. That was them confirming the options

EDIT - The club have now deleted that and it's not on the website

Ticket office told me this morning they were waiting for confirmation from Bury about the extra 300 tickets

That is the first pub I ever got served in. Happy times.

Not quite the first for me but the Knowsley was well known to be lax about under-estimate drinking.

It is pretty rough though.

Got to guess that either the Police or Bury are not 100% happy with giving us both ends.

Bury do online tickets via Eventbrite. Think they will have to close that if they don't give us any more tickets.

If you haven't yet got a ticket and planned to go, it would be easier to go down to the Bury ticket office before Saturday and buy one for the main stand, enjoy the game and don't act like a knob. Remember its only a football game.

Nonsensical when there will be thousands of empty seats in other empty stands.

Empty seats which hasn't been confirmed they will sell to Oldham fans.

Oldham Athletic can confirm that supporters will be able to pay at the turnstiles in the East Stand (behind the goal) on the day of the game. There will be no price increase if paying on the day.

Might go in the quieter less populated end and enjoy our away support from another perspective.

I'm going to do this.

It has absolutely nothing to do with leaving it too late to pick up a ticket. Ahem...

Sounds like a recipe for carnage .

It shows up all the bollocks from OAFC over the years about not being able to put away fans in the small section of RRE coz of the police being against it. Was clearly part of the shutting the Chaddy to home fans agenda.

Does anyone else find this, pound for pound, our worst local away game?

Usually a weird, subdued atmosphere despite us always taking big numbers..

Police always in full on trouble creation mode...

Shit pubs...

Usually a really shit game...

I'm looking forward to a few drinks in Manchester before and after though...

No.... but would you subconsciously show bias toward you family member in a close decision..... such as, say..... a shot that hits the crossbar and bounces marginally over the line.....?

Depends Andy - some family members I like , some..... :)

Plenty of very good watering holes in the town centre.

Notably the Trackside.

Think plenty is stretching it a bit. But not nearly as bad as Harry makes out.

Especially when you can take the unique experience of travelling by steam-train to an away game.

Mess about to say...

Is the atmosphere ever that bad? Granted, they have a lot of wannabe hard lad kids but I always think they contribute more than Rochdale ever do

Surely we can make it to 2.5k? Or even 3k. What an effort already. Fans really will be a massive bonus to the lads if we turn up loud and proud on Saturday. We have been the difference before, let’s make sure we bring them 3 points Home.

Fans are never the difference in a football match between 22 grown men...
