🤔What are the chances of Colclough appearing on the team sheet today?

Its starting to feel like a bit of a saga with him, Elliott Newby who I think was on loan for Altrincham has gone to Barrow apparently

Atkinson and Kilner are in the first team squad on the official, are they still scholars?

That puts to bed the opinion of some posters on here who have said Unsworth doesn’t rate Fondop!

Well done big Mike, he deserves it, hopefully more goals will keep coming when he gets decent service and a consistent strike partner.

We still have 30+ players on the books though, needs some releasing.

It was a Lancashire Cup game against Vodkat Premier league Ashton Athletic - but yes he should still be here and getting a chance with us.

Are we basing this on him being good, or that our current midfield crop are a pile of shite?

Granted I don't get to as many of our games as I used too, but is it 3 or 4 managers now that haven't fancied him?

He's still a kid, they could be biding time until they think he's matured enough to cope with the physical demands and nous to cope  with senior football?

There's potential in Vaughan. I remember him coming on this season and impressing. He actually got on the ball and ran at the opposition. That's nothing spectacular, of course, but it's better than what most of our midfielders have done this season. I'm not opposed to Vaughan going out on loan, but is he the worst of what we've currently got? I don't think so. Time will tell. I just don't want us to waste his talent when there's clearly something there.

I guess the idea is he's playing 90 mins each week, getting lumps kicked out of him and learning from any mistakes that brings. He can then come back here on the bench or into the team ready to roll.

Sutton came straight into the team last season from a similar loan ready to mix it if i recall correctly.

I just wish we'd have done similar with Lumaba.

We've had Maynard, Threlkeld and Cooper in centre mid this season. Chapman is an upgrade on them. He'll do for now and back up if we get someone better in.

Needs more go in him, which is really what we need in our position.

Could he do a McCalmont and come good in the second half of the season?

It's possible, but he is too passive for my liking.

My preference is for dynamic players, but looks like we will be sticking with what we have by the looks of the Chapman and Peck loan extensions.

He's passive because all our midfielders, and indeed team, are.

Like a lot of young players he looks better going forward.

Now we've broken the only one upfront syndrome perhaps he may flourish.

He says, as Unsworth sticks Fondop up front on his own against Southend.
