As it would any new player signing for a club that was reportedly having issues paying its players. Assurances must have been made, at some level of negotiation, one would assume. latics22
I’d be fine with it as long as it didn’t effect direct debits. If it was a regular occurrence I would move debits to later in the month.

Buckshawlatic
According to Andy Rhodes on ifollow AL was wanting to take the squad on a pre season tour to Morocco but Bunn and Rhodes wanted to stay here. Not the actions of a skint man to me. Unless of course he really is a lunatic and just thinks he’s rich. Rhodes came across very well too

No sign of him and FB being yes men in that interview after telling AL a trip to Morocco wasn't for the best.

tGWB
Kowenicki You're quick to snap at fellow posters heels, asking for confirmation/proof of what they have heard but resist offering answers yourself Genuine question from me to Underdog earlier, sarcastically responded to by yourself as though you are in the know For clarity then, can you confirm our players and staff have been paid yet ? 3 hours ago, tGWB said: Underdog Whilst appreciating the update, I cannot find confirmation if our players & staff have been paid yet this month. josh_latics
Gobsmacked that so many think it's acceptable for wages to be paid even a day late, never mind numerous days for the past 6+ months.
Ricardo
13 hours ago, mcfluff1985 said: Do you remember Chris Moore? Genuine question. He's the reason people get concerned when there is talk of the PFA being called in by the players. That's from someone on here who is normally correct with stuff. You say it's not in AL's interest to tho his business by mismanagement like nobody has thought of that. We know it wouldn't be in his interest, doesn't mean it can't happen and ruin our club. Seen as you believe people shouldn't question the trust about things like this, can you let me know what the trust is there for in your opinion? So yes I remember the Chris Moore era and I remember the times we went through. In reality we are still on that rollercoaster ride. My initial post was to Leagueoneorevers post about you might as well get rid of the trust as they are no bloody use other than for bucket collecting (paraphrasing obviously). I was pointing if you did that you lose the fans voice and you no influence at all. There is a difference between asking a question to the trust and questioning the trust. Questioning a bunch of volunteers who are trying to genuinely make a difference and things better for a football club we all have a vested emotional interest for me is wrong, if you personally (a broad term not specifically you) are not prepared to do nothing positive and try and make a difference. Would it help if all 2500 season ticket holders and another 1500 who have a vested interest turned up at the meeting then? Most of us just want to see the club run properly and put back on an even keel but it seems if you have these concerns your not allowed to aim your grievances at the very group who have put themselves forward to safeguard our future, we don't want to know the ins and outs of everything but a simple answer or response to the ongoing issues over staff not being paid in my opinion is not a huge request.
