Mayfield Posted April 2, 2021 Share Posted April 2, 2021 Sheer frustration once again. Should have scored at least one in the last 20 minutes. CBJ and Dylan Fage made a positive difference. DKD didnt have his shooting boots on, lots of effort but wasn't composed on the ball. We simply cant string enough passes together, certainty not enough to reach Conor Mac. Credit to Laurie Walker for a fine pen save, also Callum Whelan continues to be very neat on the ball, head up, looking for the runners ... I don't think he's had the ball in that position in the last 5 games. KC spouting coaches' technical jargon about transition and playing through the thirds whilst ignoring the things that worked ok. Careca9 Posted April 2, 2021 Share Posted April 2, 2021 KC quite a rigid manager from what I can see. Has a tactic that has worked and will stick to it. He’s made us much more organised but we’ve lost a bit up top. Team we have don’t suit his style especially up front so have to ask if he’s getting best out of what we have. He’s going to have to get us another few points yet and starting to wonder where they are coming from. They are 5 points off the play-offs!! We’re in one of the worst positions in our history, yet convert 4 of our many defeats into 4 victories and we too would be in the play-offs!
