I think he'd do well in a half decent team, only one who looks forward, receives the ball on the half turn. As for the defence, I'd get an U7s team better organised. They don't work as a unit, 3 going forward 2 going back playing players onside constantly. After over 2 months in charge, a boss who was CH hasn't been able to improve even the basics at the back. oafc1955 Posted November 6, 2022 Share Posted November 6, 2022 The players inability to pass a football in a competitive game is absolutely nothing to do with Unsworth…..the majority of this lot don’t even have the basic ability to be playing at this level and that has nothing to do with Unsworth…… almost all of this squad were inherited and that also has nothing to do with Unsworth. Formations and tactics are down to Unsworth but this squad is incapable of delivering the managers instructions, it’s there for all to see….THEY ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH…. FFS, Stop blaming Unsworth!! But it's his job. He knew the players he was inheriting, he's had 2 months to work with them and we look worse now than when he took over. Why should he be blameless? Plus most have either won promotion from this league or okayed higher. There’s plenty to work with.
